Wake me up When September Ends

Ha ha, like my emo title? Anyway, things are pretty much the same. Still working, still going to school and still chasing the little ones around!

Reyna's birthday is coming up, we were planning to take her to Disneyland, but due to finances, we won't be doing that. We are thinking of taking some kind of family trip, like to the Grand Canyon or something. We just haven't decided yet.

We're already thinking about Halloween. Reyna wanted to be Cinderella, and wanted Aidan to be Gus Gus (the fat little mouse in the movie). Now, she's saying she wants to be Tinkerbell and she wants Aidan to be The Incredible Hulk. Aidan is a good sport...he just goes along with whatever his big sister says! I'm thinking I want to go as a more gruesome version of Little Red Riding Hood! I'll have to post some Halloween pictures after we are done!

In my spare time, I've been reading. I got the new Stephen King book, Lisey's Story, and it's pretty good (as all SK books are). It's pretty weird too...even for a SK book! I'm still waiting for the movie version of The Cell to come out...I hear that there's some kind of production issues or something.

Being a good blogger

Ok, so I'm a good little girl and it's only been a week since my last blog (instead of a month). I deserve a cookie!

So, Sake is now no longer a part of our life. She was not getting along with Hooch, so we found her a good home with another kitty and NO DOGS. We just took her there today, and her new owners are happy to have her. I hope things go well and she is happier in her new home.

Things have been uber busy at work, I hardly have time to think! The good news is, I spoke to my boss and he's going to let me change my hours so I will be able to come in at 7 instead of 6 so I'm excited to start "sleeping in" for a change.

The kids are doing well, still being cute as ever. Reyna, Aidan, Tim and I all played "beauty parlor" yesterday. This game consisted of us sitting in child size chairs, while Reyna put spider clips in random places on our heads. Then, when she announced she was done, we exclaimed how pretty we looked....she was very proud of herself. Aidan has taken to fall off of and into every hard surface possible. In one day, he did a faceplant into the coffee table, then fell off of one of the end tables! He's going to be a stuntman....I'm so proud. :-(

Tim is doing well too, he's just been working and spending lots of time with the kids. We really missed them last week when we were at the sales conference, so it's good to be back to normal. Unfortunatly, he had to work last weekend so he is tired. However, we both get this weekend and Monday off! We haven't decided what we are going to do with all this time off (although part of it will be spent doing schoolwork).

Oh yea, and the final member of our family, Tim's Dad Mike. Well, we haven't seen him much in the last week or so. He's decided that we eat too late (6 PM) and it inturrupts his "sleep schedule" so he's been eating before we get home, and is in bed before we get home. So....we don't see him. I am growing increasingly worried about his health, and now that he isn't eating with us, I'm concerned that he will not get his one "good" meal a day. Tim is of the opinion that it isn't our business and he has chosen to stay out of it, but I think he is worried too. Not sure what we can do though, after all, he is "old" and set in his ways (his words).

It's been awhile

Ok, so I'm the worst blogger ever... I'm soooo sorry. Anyway, things have been very hectic lately! We had our yearly sales conference (of which I was invited to!) and Tim and I had a blast. The problem was.... we had a dinner or "event" every night since Saturday! Needless to say, we are exhausted. Today is the first "normal" day....I just can't wait to get some sleep! We did really fun things, like go to the Suite at the Diamondbacks game, Casino night (I won a Tom Tom!) and EAT EAT EAT. During the day, I had to go to the conference, and I got to learn all about Comtech products and such. It was a great learning experience, and I look forward to my new position. They are already talking about me making small trips to meet customers, and we talked about all of the things we can do this year. It's going to be a great year!

On the home front, we are going to have to get rid of Sake, our new kitty. We have had her for over a month, and she is still TERRIFIED of Hooch. I guess she just doesn't like dogs... Anyway, we have found her a new home, with no dogs, but another kitty, and we will be taking her there this weekend. We are going to miss her, but we are glad we found her a good home with no dogs. The kids are doing ok. They really missed us this week and started acting up. So, we are going to be spending even more quality time with them this week, to make up for it. Tim and I both also missed them so much, and we are glad the conference is over so that we can get back to normal again!

Hey Guys

Ok, so I guess I need to update this blog.....

Everyone's doing great. The kids are doing great, just being as cute as ever. Yesterday, we got home from Mita's and Reyna took her pants off. I saw that she was in only her panties (no diapers!) and I asked her why she took her pants off....she said, "My butt needs to breathe." It was the funniest thing ever!

So, yesterday, Aidan took a swim with some black ants! He was at Mitas and he somehow made it out of the doggie door and into a swarm of ants! He was covered in ants and is now covered in bites. He's doing ok, but we have to keep putting lotion on him. His new thing is saying "hot" which is pretty cute. He also really likes dancing, and it's so funny because he get's this serious look on his face when he bobs his head! I got to get it on video.

Tim and I have been extra busy at work because today is the fiscal year end. We are so glad it's over and even took tomorrow off to spend with the kids! If anyone has any good ideas of inexpensive, fun activities that we can do (indoors preferably), please let me know.

My first blog

Ok, so my lovely sister has convinced me that Tim and I are the typle of hip people that need blogs.... so here is our blog. Yea there are no pictures and yea it's pretty boring, but I'll work on it and make it better.....someday. So, let's see...today is Thursday, which sucks cause it's not Friday, but it will be Friday tomorrow, so we will be happy.

Tomorrow, Saki, our new addition will be getting spayed. Hopefully she will start fitting in with the other animals. She's been living upstairs for a week now!

The kids are doing good, they keep growing and acting crazy, but we love them to death. Reyna has been doing activity books, and I can't belive how smart she is! That must come from the Sanchez side ;-)
Aidan is also very smart, he said "strawberry" yesterday for the first time, while eating strawberries. Then, he proceeded to rub strawberry all over my pants while laughing...... aren't boys great?

Anyway, I guess I should go back to work....I get lunch, but I can't be on ALL day.
